I always say I hate starting Christmas cards too early but then when we came back from holidays on Saturday my new stamps had arrived and I couldn't resist having a go... then I got last year's stamps out... and the rest is history!
These aren't actually for me - Ed's mum was hinting while we were away that she'd like some handmade ones to send to a few people - she told me not to bother when I asked her directly but I thought I'd make her 10 or so anyway just as a little gift since she wouldn't take any contribution from me for the holiday costs. I'm up to 7 so far and here they are!
These two are essentially the same card just in different colours - I made one like this right at the start of proceedings last year, then forgot about it and didn't make any more, which was silly because I really liked the design (it's something about the rounded corners!)
These four were all made with leftover papers from last year and one of my new stamp sets from Woodware - as soon as I saw that turkey I had to have it and there are some other gorgeous bits and bobs in the set too, I especially like the napkin!
And finally, this one I made using some freebies from Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine. I'm not 100% satisfied with this personally but MIL is sure to like it since she loves anything to do with birds.
That's about it for now I think, thanks for visiting!
