Pink & brown

I made this card a few days ago and almost forgot to post it in time for the challenge at Passion for Promarkers, I feel like I just remembered in time! It's been a busy weekend what with Stamp Magic yesterday on what's normally my relaxing day - I had a great time though and managed to spend loads as well (obviously). Anyway enough wittering, here's the card:

The image is one of the ones I won from Pink Gem Designs the other week, she's called 'Summer Millie" and I just couldn't resist her! I went with the Pink/Brown colour scheme from the choice on offer. The pink background paper is a recent magazine freebie and the brown is a Papermania one I've had for ages and ages, brightened up with some glitter which I've also added to the roses on the image and the paper roses on the top left. There is a purpose to this glitter - I also want to enter my card into the inaugural challenge over at Glitter Geeks - the clue's in the name, the challenge is to use lots of glitter so I hope this qualifies & the glitter is visible enough, it doesn't seem to be showing up that well in the photo but I promise it's there! It's my first time combining two challenges but I can see me doing lots more of this in future!
