Hello everyone! Hope you're all well and not suffering the January blues too much - is it February yet? :)
I got this magnetic cardboard heart at Hobbycraft just after Christmas. I didn't know what I wanted it for, but I knew I wanted it and it hasn't taken me long to find it a use.
To start with I painted the whole thing white, then decoupaged a bit of floral napkin over. Then I stamped a crackle background (which you can't really see) onto some tissue paper and added that over one half. I rubbed it with some copper Perfect Pearls, and then added some flowers (the lily is Prima, the others I think I got from Joanna Sheen but don't quote me), some diecut letters, some hand-cut tiny leaves and some white half pearls. The letters were crackle glazed although when I took the photo they hadn't crackled yet!
I love this and it now has pride of place on my fridge where it clashes horribly with our red and mustard kitchen tiles :)
