Well this is a first for me. I've been following the very interesting What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday for a while now and I thought it might be time to join in. Hopefully if I can get some momentum going it might help me get into the habit of blogging more often.
Without further ado:
This is my desk c. 9pm, Tuesday 26th June. The arrangement of orange and teal things near the middle is what I was working on when I decided that what I really needed were some custom buttons, so out came the Fimo (red tin) and the results are on the little tile there waiting to be cooked. On the right near the back you can just see my first stab at this project, a dress form gone wrong. The Promarkers are left languishing there from another project, bits of which are awaiting further consideration on top of my ribbon jars.
I'm quite excited now to post my link and see what happens next. If you're visiting from WOYWW, please do leave me a comment and I'll try to come and visit you too.
Some good craftiness on your desk!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Ps I have nearly a year blog anniversary candy

Welcome to WOYWW, glad you decide to join the fun.
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting on my blog, you did just fine.
Ahhh fimo, love it, altough it's in the attick for over more than 2 years now. Can't find time for it.
Enjoy your week.
Happy WOYWW. A very creative desk. Polymer clay is one of those things I know I'd enjoy but never have the urge to do! Now, what does it say on top of the red tin?

p.s. any chance you could turn word verification off? It makes it so much harder to visit people.
I thought I had done - it's a while ago now though, maybe I put it back on without knowing! Thanks for letting me know!
Deleteooooh orange and teal, one of my fav colour combos! happy WOYWW! Trish #75

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the crafy world of WOYWW, I'm quite a newby to this myself too, but it's great fun! A desk scattered with promarkers is a very welcoming desk indeed, would be great to see some of your projects using them! :-) Debs #146
