I realised the other day that despite having started making my Christmas cards at the start of October, I still needed about 10 more. With all the other festive tasks on my list I didn't really have time to stamp and colour another ten images... I was looking at the cards we've recieved from other people and noticed that a lot of them used text as their focal point. Not having any big Christmas text stamps to hand, I opened up Powerpoint and made this:
I printed two of these on A4 card, cut the individual labels out, and made 8 cards in about two hours - probably a new record for me! Here they are, in the pairs I made them in:
Top to bottom, the papers I used are: magazine freebies with added embossing, different magazine freebies (Cardmaking & Papercraft), Polkadoodles (from the Xmas Boutique kit) and First Edition. They all have assorted glitter, Glossy Accents and gems added and the holly ones have recieved a bit of Distress Ink. And that's that! Christmas cards more or less finished - and if I need more, I can easily print more giant greetings!
If like me you are struggling to get finished - please help yourself to the Jpeg above. I hope it'll work ok, if not let me know and I can email you a PDF version. And if you do use it, please let me know so I can check out what you made!
I would like to enter this project into the following challenges:
